**POSITION: Tax Advisor**

**REPORTS TO: Tax Manager**

**SUBORDINATES: 0**

**Overall objective of job function**:
To provide tax services to clients in a professional, accurate and timeous manner.

**Job Specification**:
Key responsibilities will include, inter alia:

- Completion of trusts, individual and company tax returns
- Calculating and submission of IRP6 Provisional Tax returns for trusts, individual and companies
- Checking assessments and statement of account
- Object to incorrect assessments and reply to queries from SARS
- Liaising with SARS on behalf of clients
- Meeting with clients, general compliance duties and compliance administrative duties
- Registering for IT, PAYE & VAT with SARS
- Registering for UIF & COIDA with the Department of Labour
- Invoice preparation for work performed

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 12 month Diploma in Taxation or Accounting
**Work Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years individual, corporate & trust tax experience in a small to medium
Tax/Accounting practice
- Experience of Accfin or similar tax management software an advantage
**Skills**:

- Must be assertive, work well in a team and able to perform under pressure
- Task orientated with strong focus on delivery
- Good clear communication and numeracy skills
- Systematic and well organised
- Exceptional client service along
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
**Remuneration**:
R240,000 - R300,000 P.A. commensurate with experience

**Salary**: R240,000.00 - R300,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)
**Experience**:

- ind, trust and company tax: 2 years (required)
- accfin or similar software: 1 year (preferred)
