About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Manager to provide both strategic and operational financial leadership across our group of companies. The successful candidate will ensure accurate reporting, strong cash-flow management, full compliance with all regulatory requirements, and optimal use of company resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, payroll, debtors, creditors, audits, insurance, and taxation.
  • Manage daily cash flow and banking relationships to ensure liquidity and control.
  • Prepare and review monthly trial balances, management packs, and financial statements.
  • Coordinate annual audits, AGM documentation, and statutory submissions.
  • Manage property leases, fixed assets, insurance portfolios, and company vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and company secretarial obligations.
  • Provide financial insight and support to senior management and other departments.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, including oversight of payroll and consultant tier structures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Finance (minimum NSC/NQF Level 5).
  • Minimum of 5–10 years' experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Proven experience in financial control, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong management and leadership abilities.
  • Experience within the medical or healthcare industry will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and compliance awareness.
  • Proficient in Pastel or Xero (GoodX/Unisolve advantageous).
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of taxation, statutory reporting, and healthcare financial systems.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Clean credit and criminal record checks.
  • Professional registration (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA) is an advantage.
