You will be working as Production Manager and will be the part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Operations Manager and will be responsible to manage the production capacity, output and quality of the AIS components manufacturing, panel assembly, LV wiring and dispatch teams.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Production planning and scheduling, supplying lead times and completion dates on orders, managing the production line to achieve 100% on time delivery, maintaining quality, productivity and efficiency on the production lines
- Fault finding and investigation to core level including implementing solutions, maintaining all production procedures, working instructions and forms
- Analyzing data to identify and investigating trends, continuously improving the operational processes and arranging maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Identifying equipment needs, longer term production forecasting as inputs into the MRP, receiving BOMS and working instructions for new products from production planning
- Managing the integration into the production line, ensuring multi-skilling and cross-training, ensuring quality management system compliance throughout production, ensuring safety, health & environmental compliance throughout production
- Compiling and maintaining of budgets for the panel assembly and LV wiring area and ensuring discipline is maintained in areas of responsibility

**Your background**:

- Degree in Production Management
- 10 years work experience
- Must have SAP knowledge
- Must have a PMD (Program for Management Development) or in studies in this field (preferred)
- Excellent Leadership skills and be a role model to all reporting staff, be able to plan and guide the production team when working under strict timelines, have the confidence to collaborate with senior management
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
