**LOCAL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR**:

- Cape Town, South Africa**YOUR MISSION**:
The Local Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for controlling all aspects of the Local Accounts Payable function of PUMA South Africa. The Local Accounts Payable Administrator will control local payments, monitor the Purchase Order System, reconcile local vendor accounts, processing local payments and efficient payment runs and month-end closure deliverables.

**KPI 1**

Achievement of the efficient and timeous payment runs to ensure mínimal supplier complaints for late payments.

**KPI 2**

Achieve a steady reduction in unallocated transactions throughout the year in order to ensure that there are no unallocated transactions less than 4 months by year end.

**KPI 3**

Timeous and accurate submission of month-end closure deliverables.

**KPI 4**

Efficient management of the Purchase Order system to ensure that all purchase orders that are approved and invoiced are paid within the respective payment timelines.

**KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Monitor the Purchase Order System to ensure that all approved purchase orders with invoices are timeously paid and marked paid on the Purchase Order system.

Prepare, reconcile and liaise with vendors to timeously process payments.

Execute payments and payment runs within the required timelines (mid-month, month-end and urgent payments).

Processing of invoices and journals on SAP. Continuous monitoring of vendor accounts and clearing of “old” unallocated transactions to ensure that unallocated transactions are kept current.

Liaise with company auditors during financial audits periods. Ensuring that all audit requirements are met and audit deliverables are provided within the relevant timelines.
