**Main job purpose**
- Acquire goods & services in the most compliant, efficient and cost effective manner to ensure continuity of supply, minimise risk, maintain inventory levels and manage suppliers.

**Main Objective**
- To ensure that Procurement policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to thereby ensuring adherence to best practice and corporate governance.
- Drive and optimise the purchasing processes, inventory and supply management within the divisions to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness as well as supplier reliability.
- Drive to meet procurement BBBEE legislative targets.
- Reduce Procurement spend on a consistent basis through continuous improvement and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives.
- To lead category spend analysis and full value procurement through cross functional teams across the group.
- To manage & mitigate risk by ensuring continuity of supply.
- Negotiate Group contracts and SLA's in the most cost effective manner.
- Drive to reduce costs and identify opportunities to generate savings.
- Effectively manage, mentor and develop staff to build skills capacity.

- Grade 12
- Purchasing Management / Supply Chain / Logistics or Supply Chain Degree

**Experience**
- 5 years’ experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Operational management
- 3 years Stock Management experience
- Therefore 8 years relevant experience in total
- 5 Years’ experience in Procurement management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operational or FMCG Environment.

**Salary**: R700,000.00 - R1,000,000.00 per year
