Content Manager

Digify Africa PTY is an EdTech start-up specializing in the development of self-paced learning experiences primarily withchatbots,for diverse industries. We are dedicated to creating innovative, AI-powered solutions that enhance short mobile learning for our clients and partners, with an emphasis on accessibility for lower-end users. As we expand our projects, we are seeking a talented Content Lead to oversee the successful execution of content across our growing number of products and projects.

**Role overview**:
As a content lead at Digify Africa you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering education/learning-based content for our chatbots, including WhatsApp bots and other digital projects for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to
meet project objectives and clients will receive high-quality learning bots. This role requires exceptional content strategy, management skills, technical knowledge, and a good understanding of bot development.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Content strategy**: Work with the learning team to convert learning frameworks and curricula into content design and execution for client briefs, including the development of bot personas, tone of voice guides, and conversational writing best practices.
**Content Planning**: Work with learning director to define content scope, objectives, and requirements for WhatsApp bot content development, emphasising microlearning breakdown, conversational UI/UX principles, and potential branching elements.
**Content management and execution**: Leading and managing a growing content team (including designers and copywriters), allocate resources, oversee workflow, and ensure the timely and successful completion of content production for bot development projects.
**Contribute to product development**: Contribute to product design for chatbots, and work with UX frameworks / UX consultant to align content strategy with product roadmap and objectives, providing content-related input that optimizes both user experience and learning impact.
Communication with HCS/ project team to provide regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations.
**Quality Assurance**: Implement quality control processes on the content development to ensure that WhatsApp bots meet client requirements and perform optimally.
**Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive content process documentation, including timelines and technical specifications.
**User feedback and evaluation**: supporting learning team to conduct evaluations to assess content relevance, efficacy and performance, gathering user and client feedback, and identify areas for improvement, analyze usage data and feedback to enhance engagement and ensure the bots achieves their learning objectives.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Proven experience in digital content creation and production, preferably in an educational context (and especially if involving WhatsApp bot development or AI-related projects.)
4-7 years of experience
Technical background and understanding of technology, and content for digital platforms.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills: we are a small and self-sufficient team, ability to collaborate in a fast paced agile development environment..
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
What skills will I need?
An eye for detail - no mistakes in designs - spelling or layout
Understanding of Conversational UI/UX Design
Familiarity with Learner Analytics or A/B Testing
Good Communicator - You’ll be working remotely and mostly be your own boss.
We need to trust you’re doing your job, and good communication will help with this
Self-Starter - We want someone who is going to go above and beyond and come up with cool ideas
Curious - We want you to chat with our team and learners and help find useful insights we can act upon.
Report Creation - Presentation creation will help immensely.
Google Workplace - Proficiency in Google Docs is a must-have.
Collaboration tools - we work on Slack, Miro and other similar platforms, so ability to work in these will be necessary.
