**Introduction**:
The Proposal Manager will assist the Business Development & Technical Manager, and the company, by managing and coordinating the process of prioritising and ensuring that all quotes, proposals and tenders are prepared to pre-determined quality standards and are delivered on time, whist ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards.

**Job description**:
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:
Responsible for coordinating the preparation quotes, proposals and tenders
Responsible for ensuring quotes, proposals and tenders are submitted:

- on time;
- to pre-determined quality standards;
- in accordance with company strategic objectives and priorities; and
- in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ProfessMaintain an up-to-date register of all active quotes, proposals and tenders
- Prioritise quotes, proposals and tenders in line with strategic objectives and submission dates
- Coordinate the submission of quality quotes, proposals and tenders on time
- Coordinate company resources, including multi-disciplinary team, to ensure that priorities are achieved
- Fulfil bid leader role on key proposals & tenders
- Liaise with MRPIW head office for support and input as and when required
- Interface with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, partners, suppliers and internal team in order to achieve objectives
- Implement processes to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards
- Prepare monthly reports detailing active quotes, proposals and tenders, their submission dates and progress

**Minimum requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 to 10 years relevant experience in proposal management / bid leader role in the engineering & construction industry
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in the Solar PV industry
- Site experience and/ or working knowledge of site dynamics highly advantageous.

- A matric certificate
- A relevant post matric qualification will be advantageous
