One of SA’s leading, multinational suppliers of valves for steam, water, oil and gas is currently seeking a Group Marketing Manager at their Head office based in Bedfordview. The Group Marketing Manager will be accountable for leading the creation, definition and execution of the overall marketing and communication strategy for the entire Company, watching over the Company’s branch positioning, awareness and reputation among all stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Completed BCom Marketing Degree
- Post Graduate qualification in Marketing is preferable
- Experience and working knowledge of the Adobe Design suite - including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro and Indesign
- Experience in putting together a multi-branch full marketing budget that extends across the marketing mix and control the budget
- Ability to travel independently to the various branches in the country
- Design experience of adverts - for print and digital is a must
- Video and photography skills as well as editing experience is a must
- Digital marketing experience with knowledge of reporting on social media, Google Analytics and AdWords
- Copyrighting is an advantage as the Manager will be required to put together PR pieces based of off campaigns and share those across social media as well as the website
- Working knowledge of SEO an advantage
- Extensive marketing and business experience required, at least 5 years
- Strong personal skills, ability to engage and forge strong meaningful relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent administration and planning skills
- Excellent understanding of the marketing landscape

**Duties**
- Responsible for the brand and brand identity
- Social media marketing
- Marketing strategy and execution
- Daily admin related work which is related to marketing
- Collecting, processing and compiling information for newsletters and adverts
- Compiling marketing performance reports
- Procuring quotes for marketing events and stock
- Liaise with suppliers on printing quotes and artwork
- Will be responsible for all aspects of marketing from digital, social media, PR, advertising, and events
- Implementation and execution of a marketing plan for the financial year
- The marketing plan must include a budget or proposal on how much spend will be done per applicable media
- There is a requirement for designing, executing, and managing adverts, banners, and associated items not only for social media, but also for other platforms
- Radio campaigns and advertising must also be considered
- Promotions and events will also form part of this portfolio including sponsorships such as golf days etc.
- As a dynamic business we naturally welcome alternate marketing and advertising opportunities which may not be mentioned above
- Compile and execute marketing campaigns across the marketing mix
- including digital, radio, outdoor and printed media
- Event planning and execution - organising, planning and hosting various corporate events throughout the year
- Coordinate articles with journalists who wants to interview various Branch Managers, process the articles and share them across all platforms as well as upload them on the website.
- Update and follow the CI brand guidelines and make sure those are enforced across all the Branches
- Arrange and control suppliers or marketing materials
