**Key Responsibilities**:
Standards Compliance:
Monitor and ensure compliance with established food safety and quality standards, including Global GAP and BRCGS.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Research and Analysis:
Stay updated with the latest developments in food science, technology, and regulations.

Conduct research to enhance product quality, safety, and innovation.

Analyse research data and recommend strategies to optimize production processes and ingredient selection.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control tests, inspections, and audits.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing compliance status, issues identified, and corrective actions taken.

Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Training and Education:
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on food safety and quality standards.

Provide guidance to operational teams on best practices to ensure consistent compliance.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness of standards and their importance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to integrate technical requirements seamlessly into operations.

Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new products while ensuring they meet regulatory and quality standards.

Project Management:
Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving processes, introducing new technologies, or enhancing product quality.

Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely execution while maintaining compliance.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
Master’s degree (MSc) in Food Science or a related field.

Comprehensive understanding of food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Proficiency in standards such as Global GAP and BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards).

Excellent analytical skills to assess technical data and draw relevant conclusions.

Valid driver’s license and ownership of a reliable vehicle for transportation.

Minimum 2 years working experience in similar field
