**Position Title**:Coordinator Planning and Logistics **Position Type**: Regular - Full-Time **Position Location**:Delmas **Requisition ID**: 32238 **PLANNING & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR: AGRICULTURE - DELMAS** **PURPOSE OF THE JOB**: To be able to align raw supply with raw requirement as per production demand. To coordinate and ensure that farmers conform to the McCain Food Safety Standard as per quality requirement. **KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**: - ** Planning and Coordination of Raw Material;** - Create and maintain a 4 to 6 weeks short term intake plan. - Align plan with long term plan. - Report on opportunities and risk that may influence production plan. - Provide accurate quality report of raw material from farmers confirmed to deliver. - ** PC&R System and McCain Agriculture Audit Integration;** - Ensure and coordinate vendor registration. - Load scheduling - PC&R and McCain Agriculture Audit App. - Ensure accurate integration of data between the two systems. - ** Maintenance and Conformance to Food Safety Quality Standards;** - Ensure submission of chemical registers (Signed and approved by a chemical rep.) - ensure no fraudulent information is given to McCain and farmers use correct chemicals. - Ensure submission of water analysis (for E.coli) by farmer. - Conduct Pesticide Residue testing - send random selected samples from different farmers for pesticide residue testing. - Coordinate GAP Audit of all contracted farmers - this is an standard McCain requirement for all vendors. - Be able to consolidate and balance Mock Recalls findings. - ** Weighbridge Coordination;** - Register vendors Monthly on the weighbridge system as per the McCain Approved Vendor List. - Coordinate the communication between the weighbridge and PC&R. - Report on accuracy of planned loads as on PC&R. - ** Office Admin;** - Coupa and SAP procurement of Procurement requirements. **MINIMUM REQUIREMNETS**: - Grade 12 or equivalent. - Tertiary qualification aligned to Supply Chain, Agriculture or Industrial Engineering (Preferably National Diploma, Degree will be advantageous) - Agricultural Background - A min of 2 years in planning - Computer Skills - Interpersonal Skills - Communication Skills - Analytical Skills - Negotiation Skills - #LI-SAF1_ To apply, please visit: Internal applicants: open **HRNow** **>** **navigate down to** **McCain Career Opportunities (Internal)** - McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
