The People Team is responsible for all hiring at Glucode and the Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees the recruitment and talent management function, and co-ordinates all hiring.

The People Team implements and oversees various Training and Learning & Development initiatives throughout the Company. We are largely responsible for co-ordinating the Company’s BBBEE strategy, and partner a great deal with the Leadership team on this. And, one of the most challenging and intangible responsibilities of the People Team is that of Employee Wellbeing, always striving for a happy and healthy team.

**Ideal Education and Experience**
- National Senior Certificate required
- Degree or diploma advantageous
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Technical recruitment background preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
- Ability to work in a self-driven, complex environment with multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
- Problem-solving skills, and ability to generate creative solutions to seemingly difficult problems

**Responsibilities**
- Take ownership of the recruitment function
- Partner effectively with suppliers such as Pnet, Career Junction, LinkedIn and OfferZen
- Partner with the different business units to build relationships in order to better understand hiring needs
- Developing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Perform reference checks as needed
- Facilitate the offer process by gathering and ensuring all documentation is complete
- Manage the onboarding and new hire processes and tasks
- Stay up-to-date with recruitment trends and best practices
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process using BambooHR Hiring Software
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Ensure all interactions with prospective hires, external recruiters and agencies are aligned with the organisation’s values
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
- Build strong brand awareness and work with the Head of Sales and Marketing on events, initiatives and brand awareness for Glucode
- Arrange and schedule Design and Developer Meet-ups
- Create a strong social media presence for Glucode in terms of talent attraction

**Remuneration Overview**

Remuneration: Salary up to R25 000 basic with commission, based on experience.

**Group Scheme Benefits (Details on Company Contributions)**
- Medical Aid: Glucode will contribute 2% of your base salary towards your monthly medical aid, should you select to join the Group Medical Scheme.
- Group Life Scheme: You will be added to the Group Life Scheme after being employed with Glucode for 3 (three) months. This covers life cover, funeral cover, chronic illness and severe disability. Benefit cover is calculated using your base salary and is provided by the Company.

**Other Benefits**
- Fitness Watch - To encourage employees to take care of their health and fitness, eligibility for the fitness watch benefit is after completing 36 months (3 years) service.
- Home Office Allowance - Every 3 (three) years, you will receive an allowance of R 5 000.00 to spend on your remote working setup to assist with setting up a comfortable and productive working environment. New joiners will receive this benefit after being in Glucode’s employment for 3 (three) months.
