**As a Hostess, your responsibilities will include**:
Warmly welcoming guests to the venue

Managing reservations efficiently

Escorting guests to their designated dining or bar areas

Providing menus and introducing the assigned waiter/waitress

Creating floor plans for lunch and dinner services

Liaising with the senior chef regarding menu changes

Ensuring seamless transition between lunch and dinner services

Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the hostess desk

Handling incoming calls and addressing guest queries

Staying informed about the estate and local information

Notifying managers and waitstaff about VIP visits promptly

Adhering to reservation policies and protocols

High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12); hospitality certificate preferred

1-2 years of prior hostess experience preferred

Proficiency in restaurant etiquette

Experience in managing reservations effectively

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone

Excellent organizational abilities to oversee dining and bar areas

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Good physical condition to stand and walk for extended periods

Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele

Capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment

Well-presented with an enthusiastic demeanor

Flexibility and accountability are key attributes for success in this role.
