Take lead in the implementation of CWS Self-Reliance and Community Integration (SRCI) for Refugees, Asylum-Seekers and Other Vulnerable Populations Groups of KwaZulu Natal and Gauteng Provinces in South Africa;
- Provide the leadership and support to the program staff while managing collaboration with other programs and departments of CWS;
- Project Manager will be responsible for operational coordination of the Archdiocese, the Catholic Archdiocese of Durban Refugee Pastoral Care project activities;
- The project manager will coordinator with UNHCR, Government of South Africa and other relevant agencies and partners within the program sector;
- The Manager will be responsible to establish a pipeline of employers through outreach, for those that have expressed a shared interest and goal of integrating refugees and asylum seekers within the local market sector;
- Conduct outreach with local employers, chambers of commerce, NGOs and other local stakeholders, to familiarize them with the program's objectives;
- Project manager will, adapt CWS employment readiness training materials for local use;
- Project Manage will establish and coordinate Help Desk activities to ensure that clients are accordingly served by the staff;
- Project manager will coordinate the Identification, verification and profiling of program participants in consultation with UNHCR, local NGOs and refugee community associations;
- Coordinate and facilitate training for employment readiness;
- Support and coordinate employment case management services for program participants both refugees and local South Africa citizens;
- Coordinate and supervise the development of individual employment readiness plans with clients, and maintain client information and case files in accordance with CWS Standard Operating Procedure;
- Meet with local businesses and employers federations to identify expectations for employees' performance, and to identify job opportunities suitable for clients' skills;
- Assist employers by identifying and referring those qualified job seekers, providing useful information or tools for employee relations, and troubleshooting any issues with job performance or adjustment of employees referred through the project;
- Collect and report quantitative and qualitative information from project activities;
- In collaboration with the CWS M & E coordinator, analyze information from project activities to assess: (a) impact on participants' economic self-reliance;
- Supervise the Project Officer working in the program;
- Provide updates as needed to Program Manager to ensure program coordination;
- Submit Monthly, quarterly, and Annual reports as required;
