As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts to attract and convert customers through effective social media marketing campaigns.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule content.
- Develop tactical campaigns for brand and supplier campaigns
- Develop, implement and manage the social media strategy.
- Answer all comments on our social media platforms and direct all enquiries to the relevant departments.
- To provide content ideas for supplier collaboration and develop the creative idea into a concept.
- Oversee all visual content creation for social media channels
- Measure and report performance of all organic social activities against agreed KPI’s
- Maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies and approaches to social media
- Drive organic social innovation, and agile ways of working, and foster a culture of continual test-and-learn across the team
- Work closely with advertising, creative and supplier teams on any briefs for social-led campaigns
- Blog content development
- Develop SEO & SMO strategies

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
- The position is office bound.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and other social media best practices.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Photoshop/Canva knowledge will be advantageous.
- Retail experience advantageous.
- Driver License and own vehicle

**Salary**: R5,500.00 - R7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westville, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
