Marketing Manager

Our client based in Westville, Durban, is looking for a Marketing Manager.

**Qualification**:
Degree in Marketing or related

**Experience**

4 - 6 years Marketing experience
- **Marketing Strategy**
- Responsible for the effective implementation and management of the marketing strategies to influence sales, grow market share and build brand equity both from a Business-to-Business perspective and a Business to Consumer perspective.
- Monitor, review and evaluate effectiveness of the Marketing strategies and recommend improvements.
- Conduct appropriate market research including competitor analysis, demographic and economic reviews and examination of trends
- Analyse market information to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges

**2. Public Relations**
- Develop and execute PR campaigns and strategies
- Conceptualize and manage the PR strategy to broaden market publicity and elevate corporate and brand profiles.
- Designing and preparing of press releases
- Identify new media opportunities and concepts
- Create multiple communication strategies and communication matrix’s
- Create and execute all corporate communications
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public
- Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all PR events
- Create and maintain a favourable public image

**3. Brand Awareness**
- Develop and implement brand management strategies to increase brand awareness
- Grow the brand through campaigns that that showcase the product and service offering of the company
- Designing and preparing of promotional marketing materials
- Edit and update promotional materials and publications
- Identifying and selecting promotional and advertising options in line with the objectives of the Marketing campaigns
- Promoting the brand at trade shows and major industry related events
- Possess excellent in-depth knowledge of products being able to explain the product values, positioning in the market, target customers and technical knowledge of the product.
- Identify opportunities for brand growth and brand awareness

**4. Social Media Management**
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tik-Tok and others
- Plan, execute and monitor digital campaigns and advertising to ensure that set marketing and business objectives are met.
- Create engaging content and monitor social media activity to build followers and enhance visibility
- Respond to comments, messages and reviews on social media platforms
- Conduct analysis to assess the performance of digital content
- Stay current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world
- Social media analytics, metrics and campaign reporting

**5. Leadership and Development**
- Provide leadership to the department through goal setting, capabilities development, performance feedback and career planning
- Recruit and retain competent and high performing staff
- Ensure departmental service delivery and achievement of department goals
- Initiate reward and recognition within the department
- Identify performance and skills gap and initiate a performance improvement process
- Ensure succession planning is in place for key, scarce and critical roles in the department
