- Develop and implement a Learning and Development strategy aligned to the business Strategy and to build a high performing Learning and Development function within the business.**Requirements**:
**Experience and Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field is essential
- A Post-graduate qualification in human resources or business management is desirable
- OD-ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practice) certification
- 2 - 5 Years Short-term Insurance or Financial Industry learning facilitation experience
- 3 - 5 years previous management experience leading a team of learning & development facilitators
- Experience in managing cross functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in operating at both a strategic and tactical level

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Internal Process**
- Develop a Learning and Development strategy through translating the business strategy.
- Translate Learning and Development strategy into operational project plans and budgets.
- Engage and partner closely with Human Capital and Learning and Development Heads to align to the overall learning agenda.
- Engage, partner and consult with business stakeholders to identify and address specific Learning and Development needs within their respective areas.
- Provide agreed information, resources, professional advice and strategic contribution (on time, in budget, within quality standard).
- Comply with and uphold standards, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Allocate work and organise team to improve productivity and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrate that learning initiatives implemented generate acceptable returns.
- Remain on top of Learning and Development trends, consider new methods of delivering initiatives and experiment with technology thereby ensuring the Learning and Development function remains competitive, current and futuristic.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and deliver focused and targeted talent development plans for the business.
- Enable business stakeholders (employees and line managers) to take accountability for their own learning (self-directed learning), thereby creating a culture of learning.
- Promote the Learning and Development function within the business through a comprehensive internal communication strategy.
- Plan and execute on selected strategic Learning and Development initiatives.

- Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
- Drive client service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards in order to ensure that clients receive appropriate advice.

- Develop collaborative relationships with clients / contractors / consultants / suppliers which consistently meet business needs.
- Continuously monitor turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance client service experience.
