Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue for the company. The role includes market research, generating leads, building and maintaining customer relationships, and negotiating contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive customer retention and growth.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the customer’s needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and ensure a competitive edge.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing insight and recommendations to improve the business development process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop targeted growth strategies.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Food & Beverage market experience will be advantageous.
