Credit Management Specialist

Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting clients in understanding and improving their credit profiles. The role combines elements of customer service, financial consultation, and sales, aiming to educate and guide clients on effective strategies to repair and build credit, ultimately empowering them to achieve financial wellness. The Credit Solutions Specialist works closely with clients to identify negative credit factors, provide tailored solutions, and help negotiate favourable outcomes with creditors.
A.) Key Responsibilities:
1 . Client Consultation and Credit Analysis
- Conduct thorough consultations: To assess clients' credit reports, identify inaccuracies, and understand financial challenges.
- Educate clients: on credit scoring factors, credit repair strategies, and steps toward credit improvement.
- Provide personalized credit-building plans: advising on financial management and responsible borrowing.
- Lead Conversion: Leads will be provided to initiate outreach with potential clients who have requested the free credit report assessment. Specialists are expected to follow up on these leads, collect necessary documentation, and move clients forward to additional services.
- Document Management: Actively follow up with clients to collect required documents (e.g., ID, consent forms) to facilitate timely credit report assessments and processing.
- Case File Management: Organize and update each client's case file consistently, from initial assessment to final resolution. Ensure all documentation, communication logs, and action steps are recorded in the CRM.
2 . Credit Repair and Advocacy
- Dispute incorrect or outdated information with credit bureaus and creditors on behalf of clients.
- Negotiate and mediate with creditors to arrange payment plans, remove inaccurate records, or resolve disputes.
- Stay informed of credit regulations, including FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and other consumer protection laws.
3 . Sales and Client Acquisition
- Engage in outreach to potential clients, explaining the benefits and process of credit repair services.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of leads and follow up on prospects to drive conversions.
- Upsell additional financial products and services, such as credit monitoring or educational workshops, to support ongoing client success.
4 . Customer Relationship Management
- Track and manage client progress, maintaining regular communication and updates to support continuous improvement.
- Provide superior customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
5 . Reporting and Compliance
- Document client progress, service plans, and interactions in CRM tools.
- Ensure all activities and communications are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports to analyze service effectiveness and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
B.) Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in credit repair, financial services, or sales is a requirement
- Skills: Strong knowledge of the credit industry pertaining to NCA, credit bureaus, credit providers, and consumer rights.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to sell services while educating clients on the value of credit repair and financial literacy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex credit information effectively. Multi-lingual
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to interrogate accredit report, identify credit issues and provide actionable solutions.
- Tech Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial software.
