The position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Team Leadership and Management:

- Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable specialists.

- Organize training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Accounts Payable Processing:

- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, statement reconciliations, and payments.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Vendor Management:

- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors.

- Negotiate payment terms and handle disputes effectively.

- Ensure vendor accounts are reconciled accurately and resolutions are executed on outstanding items.

- Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance AP systems.

- Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures.

- Reporting and Compliance:

- Prepare detailed reports regarding AP metrics for senior management.

- Monthly reporting on all Balance sheet control accounts (GRIR).

- Manage audits related to accounts payable.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- 4-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficient in AP software and systems.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
