Job Summary:

Old Mutual is seeking a highly skilled Pension Fund Death Claims Investigator to join our team. As a Section 37C Specialist, you will be responsible for handling death claims under the Pension Funds Act, ensuring compliance with the PF Act and the Fund's rules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Act and its provisions, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate death claims under Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act
  • Identify and trace dependants and nominees of deceased members
  • Allocate death benefits under delegation of decision-making power
  • Determine mode of payment

Requirements:

  • Matriculation Certificate
  • At least 3 years' experience in Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act
  • Working knowledge of Old Mutual internal systems
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
