About the Role

Restaurant Careers is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join their team at a reputable fine dining restaurant in Fourways. This position involves managing kitchen operations, leading a team of chefs, and ensuring high-quality food delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to meet service standards
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management
  • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant chef and kitchen management experience
  • Proven track record of leading teams and improving kitchen efficiency
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain high levels of productivity
