Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned actuary with experience in life insurance product development. As Head: Product Development (Life), you will play a crucial part in Guardrisk Group's success by working closely with clients and internal teams to design, develop, and manage innovative life insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new life insurance products that meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to enhance existing life insurance products and expand our product portfolio.
  • Engage with clients and reinsurers to discuss product strategies, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead the Product Development team, providing guidance and support to junior actuarial analysts and ensuring their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Nearly qualified actuary with at least three to five years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with life insurance product development and management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.
