The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Job Description:

As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team, including:



  • Financial Record Management: Compiling and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Payroll Administration: Ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and benefits.
  • Banking and Compliance: Managing banking relationships, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports to management, highlighting key financial trends and areas for improvement.
  • Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audit preparations, ensuring that all financial records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.

In addition to your financial skills, you will also be responsible for providing administrative support, including:



  • Document Filing: Organizing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and records.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinating meetings and appointments, ensuring that all necessary materials are prepared and available.
  • Travel Arrangements: Booking travel arrangements for staff and management as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Matric Certificate: A National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
  • Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative support role.
  • Strong Financial Skills: A strong understanding of financial principles, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Payroll and Banking Knowledge: Knowledge of payroll processes and banking operations.
  • Administrative Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
