Key Responsibilities:


Reconcile store deposits, cash and credit card transactions with daily bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Liaise with the company to resolve queries and discrepancies regarding services rendered.


Manage and analyze petty cash transactions to ensure efficiency and minimize losses.


Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Financial Manager, detailing daily transactions and financial performance.


Reconcile inter-branch transactions to ensure seamless financial operations.


Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track daily transactions, invoices, and payments.


Review and process employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.


Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.


Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and Commercial Manager, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.


Ensure the efficient management of electronic and printed files, adhering to company standards and best practices.


Requirements and Skills:


Grade 12 qualification or equivalent, with a strong foundation in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.


Minimum 1 year of experience in auditing, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.


Experience working in a group environment, preferably in a multi-store setting.


Proven work experience in a finance administration or finance assistant role, with strong technical skills and knowledge of accounting software.


Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including the creation of spreadsheets and use of financial functions.


Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures and principles.


Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
