Business Operations Manager

Muhari Logistics (Pty)Ltd is seeking a skilled Business Support Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating information, conducting quality assurance inspections, and developing a reporting ethos that focuses on standardization and uniformity.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced professional who can provide strategic support to the business on day-to-day office management. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating information concerning progress and programs of various management committees and other relevant internal stakeholders;
- Conducting quality assurance inspections across teams to ensure that all work conducted is on standard and comply with defined processes and procedures;
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring a new reporting ethos that focuses on standardization and uniformity;
- Drafting responses with regard to more complex issues for internal and external stakeholders;
- Driving projects carried out by the business through the application of effective project management principles;
- Ensuring effective functioning of the office with emphasis on the administrative documentation and management support side;
- Ensuring effective relationship and liaison between the Business; Ensuring efficient and effective follow-through and quick turnaround times for query resolution, meeting of deadlines and electronic correspondence;
- Ensuring that Departmental impacts have been explored and all risks (internal and external programmes) have been identified and mitigation strategies developed;
- Managing the departmental risk register and coordinate Audit processes on behalf of the Business;
- Monitoring and coordinating the implementation of resolutions from Management Committee meetings;
- Preparing and co-ordinating submissions for quarterly and periodic reporting with the responsible portfolio committees, steercoms, etc.;
- Preparing and managing all reports, correspondence and documents for the Business , including the monitoring of the document management system;
- Providing professional input and support in preparing reports for the Business as well as divisional reports, submissions, and approvals;
- Providing quality assurance for divisional reports, as well as taking minutes for divisional meetings;
- Providing strategic support to the Business on the day-to-day office management;
- Provide support in dealing with ad hoc requests as they arise e.g. interviews, submissions, offer letters etc.; Research and compile comprehensive documents/presentations for the BusinessResearch, analyse information and compile complex documents for the Business and lead the Executive special projects.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- A minimum of [Salary] per annum, negotiable depending on experience;
- An HND or degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
