  • We're seeking an experienced ICT Senior Application Team Leader to lead our team of application developers and drive the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide thought leadership on the application of technology to resolve logistics and supply chain challenges.
  2. Lead and mentor the development team, and interact with clients to analyze and specify requirements.
  3. Design and implement new solutions, and support and enhance existing ones.
  4. Guide the team in adhering to agile software development processes and coding standards.
  5. Communicate project strategies to senior-level stakeholders.
  6. Stay up-to-date with IT technology and market trends.
  7. Oversee the rollout of application and software development strategies and plans to internal clients.
  8. Ensure that application and software development addresses the needs of clients.
  9. Create and present professional proposals and presentations that respond to client needs.
  10. Orchestrate internal resources and technology offerings to improve client service.
  11. Embark on ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance business applications and their integration.
  12. Ensure synchronization between business applications, processes, user requirements, and systems.
  13. Supervise and control the workflow of the application development area.
  14. Ensure the development and enhancement of IT systems and processes.
  15. Participate in the IT Application Development Management Team and contribute to setting strategic objectives for IT business.
  16. Be responsible for client relationship management.
  17. Collaborate with other Application leads and the Application Development Manager to create strategic goals.
  18. Lead the overall strategy and direction for the application development teams in Web, GUI, and Mobile.
  19. Contribute to the technology vision and planning process.
  20. Bridge the silos between development teams and ensure a decrease in fragmented application development.
  21. Ensure adherence to the software development life cycle, protocols, and compliance in terms of good practice.
  22. Oversee the development and implementation of software applications.
  23. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of technology products and services to clients.
  24. Oversee current system enhancements and manage internal/external application upgrades.
  25. Willingness to be on standby as required.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or B.Com degree with Computer Science/Information Technology Management.
  • Relevant Master's Degree/MBA is advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Solid experience in leading application web, GUI, and mobile developers.
  • Project Management experience or understanding, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of project management and Scrum methodologies.
  • Financial acumen, ability to keep abreast with current technology, and ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and influence relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and network skills, managing and developing yourself, and strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience in technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Services, HTML5/mobile technologies, Silverlight, Workflow/Business Process, Microsoft.Net Frameworks, Web technologies, Microsoft Web stack, test-driven development, and software engineering best practices.
  • Mobile application development experience (iOS, Mono, Android) is advantageous.
