Supply Chain Manager Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join their team at Performability Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Order Levels: Ensure that order levels are maintained in line with the plan, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Support the Company's supply chain strategy as a key member of the team.
  • Supply Chain Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for all supply chain activities.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, planning, and warehousing.
  • Performance Management: Lead the team's performance management process, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Industry Regulations: Stay up to date on industry-relevant regulations in supply chain management.
  • Sustainability: Develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, with 5 years at a hands-on managerial level in a factory environment.
  • Cosmetic/pharmaceutical industry experience is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages and supply chain management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
