Supply Chain Manager Job Description

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain function and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ensure that order levels are optimized and maintained according to the production plan, and analyze supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-effective solutions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage and coach the supply chain team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship, and oversee the performance management process for the team in line with company procedures and policies.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best possible terms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and generate reports for all supply chain activities, and ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet business needs.
  • Compliance and Sustainability: Stay informed on industry regulations related to supply chain management and ensure compliance, and develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply chain environment, with at least 5 years in a hands-on managerial role in a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office packages and supply chain management software.
