Supply Chain Manager Job Description

An internationally recognized cosmetic manufacturer is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full supply chain function, including forecasting, improving, and maintaining all supply chain logistics activities and procedures. They will report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and maintain order levels in line with the plan.
  • Support the COO in developing and implementing the company's supply chain strategy.
  • Analyze supply chain data, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for all supply chain activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, planning, and warehousing.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
  • Responsible for the team's performance management process, as per company procedures and policy.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry-relevant regulations in supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • 10 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment, with 5 years of experience at a hands-on managerial level in a factory environment.
  • Cosmetic/pharmaceutical industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
