Financial Operations Leader

In this key role at Simplify Recruitment in Pretoria East, the Tax Accounting Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of Trainee Accountants, ensuring the efficient completion of accounting tasks, and fostering strong client relationships. This individual will also be responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Main Duties:- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of Trainee Accountants to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maintain a positive company culture.
- Oversee the processing and completion of accounting tasks from start to finish.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll tasks.
- Coordinate CIPC matters and other statutory functions.
- Submit PAYE, UIF, SDL, and IRP5 Recon filings within deadlines.
- Manage SARS e-filing (VAT, PAYE, Income tax).
- Handle SARS matters and tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Conduct audits without reviews.
- Regularly update processes and provide feedback.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service delivery.
- Provide monthly management accounts to retainer clients.
- Deliver high-value-added services to client businesses.
- Minimize client complaints through proactive measures.
