Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team at WAXIT Franchise Holdings PTY LTD.

This role is based in Fourways and reports to our Head of Marketing. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving our brand forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies that drive results.
  • Assist with new store launches, special projects, and daily tasks as required by the Head of Marketing.
  • Manage website updates, ensuring content is current and engaging, and schedule and publish content on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) and monitor performance.
  • Compile presentations and monthly digital stats for franchisees and coordinate marketing requests from franchisees and liaise with design teams.
  • Obtain quotes from advertisers, printers, and promotional houses; coordinate design and production, and assist with promotional items and brand events.
  • Craft compelling copywriting and proofreading of marketing materials, manage Influencer relationships and campaigns, and ensure all content is inclusive, on-brand, and consistent.

As a Brand Development Associate, you will work closely with our vibrant and energetic team to drive our marketing strategies and promote our best-selling products. Our estimated salary for this position is R250,000 per annum, which reflects the market rate for similar roles in the Johannesburg area.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, online analytics, Google Ads, Canva, Meta, and similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and project management experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport preferred.
