Warranty Claims Expert

**Job Description**
The position of Warranty Claims Expert - Global Grade 10 exists to manage and resolve warranty claims efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling costs, managing suspense and debtors' accounts, and providing expert technical support for warranty resolution.
**Key Accountabilities:**
- Control costs effectively on all types of warranty claims.
- Manage suspense and debtors' accounts effectively.
- Provide expert technical support for warranty resolution.
- Collaborate with the business to provide feedback on warranty issues.
- Achieve warranty balance scorecard targets and KPIs.
**Requirements include:**
- Qualified Artisan (Mechanic in relevant trade e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 3 years post-apprentice/learnership experience.
- Applicable product knowledge and basic financial management skills.
- Sound business communication skills – managerial and technical report writing skill essential.
- Sound interpersonal relationship skills.
- Computer Literate (MS Office & SIS ET).
- Problem-solving and failure analysis skills.
- Warranty claim experience is an added advantage.
- Leadership Competencies.
- Understanding of supplier warranty systems.
- Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures.
