About the OpportunityThis is a challenging and exciting opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to work with a global company and contribute to its success.
The ideal candidate will have excellent legal knowledge, business understanding, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing legal strategies to support business operations;
- Providing legal support on regulatory compliance issues;
- Selecting and managing external lawyers;
- Performing legal analysis and providing advice on dispute resolution and quality claims;
- Working closely with the operation/project team to support a wide range of transactions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- LLB or LLM from a reputable international law school or equivalent;
- Admission to South Africa or equivalent;
- 3-7 years post-qualification experience in corporate general and dispute resolution;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
