**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Manager to lead our Material Handling operations in Johannesburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our business, including new and used unit sales, rental fleet, spare parts, and product support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement annual sales budgets for approval by the Management Board and ensure accountability for achieving set targets.
  • **Team Management:** Ensure that all relevant business units are appropriately staffed and that staff is professionally trained, managed, and motivated.
  • **Performance Management:** Conduct regular formal and informal staff appraisals and provide feedback to the Management Board and HR function.
  • **Communication:** Create a positive working environment by communicating company strategies and objectives and ensure that these are understood and met.
  • **Business Development:** Identify and appoint experienced dealers as needed, and ensure that the brand is marketed and promoted throughout the region.
  • **Customer Engagement:** Conduct regular customer visits, particularly with key accounts, and liaise closely with support functions to ensure efficient business operations.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 15-20 years of experience in the forklift industry.
  • A proven track record of managing and motivating successful sales or commercial teams.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and goal orientation.
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
  • A positive outlook and effective communication skills.
