Job Title: Product Manager

At Tower Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing efforts of our cloud and server products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to increase customer coverage and sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand their development strategies and implement them in our sector.
  • Define and document development plans with partners and focus on execution.
  • Review and present quarterly progress reports to vendors.
  • Provide training and up-skilling to partners and Pinnacle team members.
  • Develop and manage sales and presales resources for partners.
  • Manage minimum certification levels of partners.
  • Ensure operational excellence of vendors within partners.
  • Manage orders, quotes, credits, and inventory levels.
  • Escalate partner operational issues to vendors and focus on resolution.
  • Align vendor resources with partner needs.
  • Drive marketing initiatives on behalf of vendors.
  • Manage vendor sales process, deal registration, and discount management.
  • Enlist vendor support to drive opportunities to closure.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain key contacts.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for revenue targets allocated to partners.
  • Drive Pinnacle product focus within partners.
Requirements:
  • Matric with mathematics is essential.
  • Sales and Marketing qualification and/or relevant diploma is preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years IT sales experience is essential.
  • Previous IT distribution experience will be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite is essential.
  • Knowledge of CRM and ERP system is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, such as RMA's and deliveries.
  • Service quality orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Relevant technical knowledge and technology driven.
  • Customer focused.
  • Excellent time management.
