Technical Sales Expert

Armstrong Appointments is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Expert to drive sustainable growth and profitability in the South African region. The successful candidate will focus on selling capital equipment for inspection and coding to various industries, contributing to the company's continued success.
Main Responsibilities:
- Understand manufacturing processes of customers
- In-depth understanding of internal sales processes & sales cycle
- Extensive product and application knowledge
- Technical capital sales knowledge
- In-depth understanding of competitors' products and services
- Industry application knowledge
- Equipment application and environmental knowledge
- In-depth understanding of customer requirements
- Geographical knowledge
- Customer locations
- Application of technical knowledge to solve a range of problems
- Extensive knowledge of consumables
- Knowledge of MS Office application
- Knowledge of JD Edwards CRM platform
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing
- Relevant technical qualification will be advantageous
- 3-5 years' experience in capital equipment sales
- 3-5 years' experience in a technical position within the inspection and coding industry
