About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our Dimension Data Intelligent Workplace Sales team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for taking our modern workplace message into the market, working with assigned clients to develop their workplace roadmaps, and driving the sale of Dimension Data's mobility and RPA solutions to grow our share of wallet within their account patch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients from a sales and high-level consulting perspective, as well as serve as a liaison between different stakeholders within the Dimension Data business and the greater NTT group.
  • Assist members of the IW team, as needed, to ensure clients are serviced across all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Ensure that allocated accounts are well-administered, clients receive good service, and opportunities are sought to strengthen Dimension Data's brand and presence within the client base.
Requirements
  • Interface with clients in a professional manner, emphasizing building client relationships.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' business, services, and technology needs.
  • Establish credibility with clients.
  • Promote our services and solutions in the modern workplace, collaboration, mobility, and RPA/Power Platform, and seek new business opportunities.
  • Have an awareness of ERP platforms and how they can be presented and consumed in the modern workplace.
  • Work with Technical and Solution Architects to develop client roadmaps in the modern workplace and collaboration domains.
  • Ensure timely submission of quality proposals, quotations, and RFP responses.
  • Support high client satisfaction ratings through proactive sales engagements.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, planning, and processes adherence.
  • Ensure the sales repository is updated and used as the primary storage point for all client-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with GTM Practice Leads and GM's, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Vendors, as applicable, to deliver appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Drive the sales and presales cycles to ensure alignment of solutions and ability to deliver.
  • Maintain good relationships with other team members.
  • Participate in departmental administrative functions, including meetings, billing submissions, training, evaluations, etc.
Learning, Growth & Innovation
  • Learn about Modern Workplaces, Collaboration, and Microsoft's Power Platform.
  • Learn about the development and digitization of business processes.
  • Learn about commercial and operational models required for a successful migration to Public Cloud Productivity and Collaboration providers.
  • Learn about service delivery models and standards, e.g., ITIL.
  • Take accountability for your own growth.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.
Qualification / Professional Registrations
  • Tertiary education; minimum bachelor's degree.
Experience
  • 3-5 years Sales Experience is required, as well as a passion for sales and solving clients' business and IT challenges is critical to success in the role.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Commercial modeling and business case preparation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
