Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our team at Conova Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing daily bank account transactions, loading payments onto the bank and database, and processing supplier invoices onto the accounting system.

Key Tasks:
  • Process daily bank account transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Load payments on the bank and database in a timely manner.
  • Process supplier invoices onto the accounting system.
  • Check supplier invoices for accuracy for payment.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts payable, bank accounts, and credit cards to ensure accuracy.
  • Match accounts in accounting software.
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized financial records.
  • Filing financial records.
  • Update and maintain accounting databases.
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as data entry, processing mail, and accounts email inbox.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a relevant certificate or diploma or degree in accounting or a related field. You will also need to have demonstrated experience in data capturing, accounts payable, and bank account processing. Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail are essential, as well as the ability to work under deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Exceptional accuracy in handling financial data is crucial, and familiarity with Business Central or equivalent accounting systems will be considered an advantage. You will also need to have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel and Google Sheets.
