Electrical Systems Specialist

At Kulu Eco-Services, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at our waste treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems.
  • Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems and plan the installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Adhere to state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code and follow safety protocols to prevent electrical shocks, falls, and other injuries.
Requirements:
  • Electrical qualifications and completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program.
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role and environment (manufacturing).
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment in a processing environment, preferably in waste and/or wastewater treatment.
  • Knowledge of implementing planned maintenance systems and ability to lead and manage people.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and ability to read blueprints and knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
