Electrical Systems Specialist

Kulu Eco-Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at the waste treatment plant. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring they are safe, functional, and up to code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install wiring, control, and lighting systems
  • Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
  • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Ensure systems comply with applicable codes and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program
  • Must have own vehicle
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role and environment (manufacturing)
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment in a processing environment, preferably in waste and/or wastewater treatment
  • Knowledge of implementing planned maintenance systems
  • Must be able to lead and manage people
  • Must be willing to work night and/or weekend shifts
