As a Procurement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to source and procure high-quality parts and materials for our operations. This involves working closely with suppliers to negotiate prices, manage inventory, and ensure timely deliveries.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. You should have hands-on experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is highly desirable, as is 5-8 years' experience in buying roles. If you have a proven track record of successfully managing procurement teams and driving cost savings, we want to hear from you
In terms of salary, we are offering a competitive package that reflects the candidate's level of experience. Based on industry standards, we anticipate an annual salary of between R550,000 and R800,000, depending on the successful candidate's background and qualifications.
