Key Account Specialist

Salesworx is seeking an experienced Key Account Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving business growth and developing new markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our company's products and achieving daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met. They will identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service and manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, product and service analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote our company's products to existing and potential customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify new markets and customer needs to ensure value-added service.
- Manage purchase analysis, customer segmentation, product and service analysis.
- Improve and maintain the standard of service.
- Build market position by defining and closing business relationships with new customers.
- Provide assistance with implementing suggested plans and strategies.
- Create and present sales strategies.
- Follow up with regular meetings with both active and prospective clients.
- Develop your own customer database.
- Negotiate sales and clinch business deals.
- Initiate invoicing & payment.
- Conduct handover of new contracts to operations.
- Send weekly and monthly reports to Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales is essential.
- A hunter personality with excellent client relationship building skills.
- General business exposure.
- Hygiene and cleaning chemical experience preferable; will also consider candidates that have experience in selling pumps/pressure hoses.
CTC: R25k - R35k + commission + provident fund.
