Job Title: Commercial Manager - Commodities Sales Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Manager to lead our Commodities Sales team in the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a multi-channel sales strategy for animal feed products in the South African market and neighboring countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Liaise with the procurement team and suppliers to secure relevant stock and negotiate favorable pricing terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide technical support to clients to ensure the building of strategic partnerships and drive sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administration related to clients and products.
  • Provide market analysis and monthly reporting to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and sales of animal feed products to dairy farms, game farms, and other relevant sales channels.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of animal nutrition and management.
  • Proven record of successfully building and managing relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Management experience and computer literacy.
  • Understanding of management and reporting systems.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
