Conveyancing Support Specialist

A vacancy exists for a Conveyancing Support Specialist to join the Property team at a reputable Law Firm in Sandton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transfer of properties, including residential and commercial property transfers.
- Prepare files accurately according to specifications.
- Administer and organize the conveyancing legal practice of the director.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
- Draft documents, including typing and formatting legal documents and commercial agreements.
- Attend to lodgments and registrations of all transfers, bond cancellations, and bonds.
- Manage finances related to conveyancing transactions.
- Perform FICA administration and ensure FICA requirements are complete.
Requirements:
- Matric certification is required.
- A Legal Conveyancing Secretary/Paralegal qualification is advantageous.
- At least 6 years of experience as a conveyancing secretary is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programmes, specifically MS Word, is required.
- Experience with Investec, Nedbank, and Standard Bank bonds would be beneficial.
- In-depth knowledge of conveyancing software/systems such as Lexis Convey, Lotus Notes, E4 (Portal based), Webconvey, and Windeed is necessary.
- Familiarity with Aderant Expert (CMS) accounting system is desirable.
