Property Transaction Coordinator

We seek a highly skilled Property Transaction Coordinator to join our Property team at the University of Fort Hare.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transfer of properties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage files according to company specifications.
- Provide administrative support to the director, focusing on conveyancing legal practices.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Compose and format various documents, including legal documents and commercial agreements.
- Oversee the registration and lodgment process for all transfers, bond cancellations, and bonds.
- Manage financial aspects related to conveyancing transactions.
- Ensure FICA compliance and completeness.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate is mandatory.
- A degree or diploma in a related field, preferably Legal Conveyancing, would be advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a conveyancing secretary is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programmes, specifically MS Word, is necessary.
- Knowledge of Investec, Nedbank, and Standard Bank bonds would be an asset.
- Advanced understanding of conveyancing software and systems is crucial.
- Familiarity with Aderant Expert (CMS) accounting system is beneficial.
