Key Account Manager Role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing relationships with brokers and overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the floorplan on a daily basis for a niche, boutique financial services firm.
Reporting to the Head of New Business, the Key Account Manager will promote financial products and services to existing brokers, providing them with customized solutions to meet their commercial clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and broker interactions in the company's CRM system
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing brokers
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that brokers receive a seamless experience
- Manage the day-to-day floorplan tasks, including placements, settlements, reporting, stock takes, and the relationship with underlying clients

- Asset-based finance
- Invoice discounting
- Floorplan financing
Requirements:
- Commercial qualification (finance, marketing, business management, or similar will be advantageous)
- Experience in business development or account management in the commercial finance industry will be beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and brokers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
