External Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven External Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our educational and literary offerings to clients in various sectors.
Your primary focus will be on sourcing new business opportunities, building brand equity, and managing customer relationships. You will also be responsible for market intelligence, administration, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing new business opportunities within schools, TVET, higher education, nursing, corporate, government, and library market segments
- Building brand equity and customer relationships
- Market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Administration and sales strategy execution
- Matric qualification
- Sales or marketing qualification, advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years experience in selling or marketing of books or related products
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Valid RSA driver's license and own vehicle
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Communication and sales skills
- Administration and time management skills
- Problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Self-motivation and target-driven
- Technical proficiency
R13 000 CTC (inclusive of Provident Fund and Medical Aid contribution) + sales bonuses every 6 months if targets are met
Work Hours and OvertimeMonday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00. Overtime will be paid if the successful candidate needs to work on a Saturday.
