IT Systems Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the position of Regional IT Manager at Sharon Nurock Recruitment CC. This role is ideal for an innovative and strategic thinker who can lead our retail systems projects, drive technology adoption, and provide expert guidance on hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities- Implement and Drive Retail Systems Projects: Develop and execute strategies to enhance our retail systems infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Drive Store Conversion and IQ Module Implementation: Lead the conversion of stores to current IQ versions, while implementing new IQ modules to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Conduct Hardware and Systems Need Analyses: Perform thorough assessments to identify hardware and system requirements, developing proposals and upgrades to meet our business needs.
- Ensure Adherence to Minimum Hardware Standards: Establish and maintain strict adherence to minimum hardware standards and retail systems best practices to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Provide Financial and Business Management Guidance: Offer expert advice on financial and business management aspects related to in-store systems, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Support the IT Helpdesk: Provide timely assistance to the IT Helpdesk, addressing technical issues and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Regular Technical Visits: Conduct regular, proactive technical visits to ensure ongoing systems management, maintenance, and training.
- MCSE or Similar Qualification: Essential tertiary qualification in IT, preferably complemented by relevant certifications.
- Retail Systems Qualification: Highly recommended IQ Enterprise qualification, demonstrating expertise in retail systems.
- Working Knowledge of Accounting: Strong advantage, showcasing a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Minimum 5 Years' Experience: In-depth experience in hardware, network, desktop, infrastructure support, customer support, POS system support, and accounting/financial/system support.
- Innovate and Provide Leadership: Proven ability to innovate and lead, driving business growth and improvement.
- Build Relationships: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the capacity to establish strong interfaces between IT and retail teams.
- Customer Service: Outstanding customer service skills, ensuring exceptional experiences for our clients and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stress Tolerance: High stress tolerance, remaining calm under pressure and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, facilitating effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Interpersonal Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal management skills, leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills, driving initiatives from conception to delivery.
The estimated salary for this role ranges between R1,200,000 and R1,800,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
