Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a focus on commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales of parts to internal and external customers, while also acquiring and retaining customers. Key responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with company procedures, generating industry feedback, and updating the product/completion Management Information System (MIS) monthly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving targets, with experience in scorecard build-up and new business development. Multilingualism is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales of parts to internal and external customers.
  • Acquire and retain customers.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures.
  • Generate industry feedback and update the MIS monthly.
  • Work closely with the Business Head to finalize monthly schemes aimed at increasing sales volumes.
  • Drive direct sales from extra heavy truck clients/customers.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and measure share of business at key accounts.
  • Increase volumes and market share in the assigned province/territory.
  • Sell vehicles that meet customer needs; ensure the initial quotation is accurate.
  • Listen attentively to customers to clearly understand their requirements and locations.
  • Show interest in personal development and a willingness to learn more about the product.
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers.
  • Personally manage work efficiency.
  • Ensure that all leads are recorded on the Customer Management System (CMS).
  • Follow prescribed cash and credit processing procedures of the dealership.
  • Control showroom inventory to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Minimize the risk of stock shortages and losses.
  • Manage all material handling tools and equipment according to dealership/the company's standards.
  • Adhere to access control procedures to maintain orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules.
  • Foster good working relationships with colleagues and peers.
  • Take corrective action on any out-of-line items.
  • Properly adhere to company rules regarding the use of tools, special equipment, and company assets.
  • Promote wellness and encourage confidence in job analysis and understanding within the team.
