About the Role

Ricoh is seeking a talented Strategic Enterprise Account Manager to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue generation through strategic account management and sales of complex software solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Identify and pursue new enterprise business opportunities, with a strong focus on sales and account management.
  2. Grow and develop assigned enterprise accounts, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met.
  3. Develop and implement market strategies to create new business opportunities and expand existing ones.
  4. Develop market capabilities, including analysis of business opportunities and identification of solutions to match customer needs.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Responsible for new account acquisitions, account growth, account penetration, customer relationship management, and business improvement initiatives.
  2. Grow a strong pipeline to secure future revenue and provide accurate forecasts.
  3. Partner with other sales professionals to develop account sales strategies and achieve growth.
  4. Manage overall account relationships to ensure excellent customer service.
  5. Be the primary point of contact with customers on all business-related matters.

Requirements

  1. Matric/Grade 12 mandatory.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in office automation, complex software solutions sales, or similar industry.
  3. Minimum 5 years in a senior sales environment.
  4. Previous experience in a multinational corporate environment an advantage.
  5. Existing enterprise customer base and relationships with enterprise customers advantageous.
  6. Knowledge and understanding of project management and customer account management at a regional/national level.
  7. Strong business acumen with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple regional locations.
  8. Leadership and people management capability through effective communication.
  9. Excellent financial and process analytical skills.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a customer-driven deadline environment.
  11. Boardroom-level presentation skills.
  12. Exceptional computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
